AROUND VIDEO ART FAIR 2023

From September 29th to October 1st, 2023, Galerie Eric Mouchet is pleased to present the last video of Louis-Cyprien Rials Oyouni filmed in Irak this year for this new edition of Around Video Art Fair 2023 in mirror of the two solo exhibitions he presents in Paris and in Brussels.
 
The video titled Oyouni, which means “my eyes” explores an outsider’s perspective on a culture affected by geopolitics. Artist Louis-Cyprien Rials is fascinated by the complexity of Iraq. He challenges preconceptions, constructs multi-layered artworks, and continues to observe the ever-changing geopolitical landscape, providing fresh perspectives on the region’s realities.
